Homemade Ranch-- this is so easy!

For years, I've used the Hidden Valley Ranch packets, never knowing I could make my own (better tasting!) ranch from scratch for super easy.

MIX THE FOLLOWING:
  • 1 c. mayo
  • 1/4 c. sour cream
  • 1/4 c. buttermilk
  • 14-20 fresh parsley leaves, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried dill (fresh is even tastier)
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • salt & pepper to taste
Refrigerate and eat! YUM!

Yum! I was running low on Ranch dressing, so I made this last night. I may never buy Ranch again. :-) It is so good... for salad, dip, and a sandwich spread. Thanks for sharing!

I've been looking for a Ranch recipe. Reading the ingredients label keeps me from buying it any more.

I think I've used it for up to a couple weeks. Honestly, I just go by the smell test if it gets to that point... but by my memory, I've only had it get to that point one time, when we went on vacation and returned. Normally, it's eaten up so quick I don't even have to worry about it.
